Learn your lines from the script you already have.

Upload a PDF or Word script. Flobby turns it into scenes and characters, reads the other parts aloud, and listens while you answer.

The Seagull, Act I

Medvedenko

Why do you always wear black?

You, as Masha

Your line is hidden.

In a real rehearsal, Flobby reads Medvedenko aloud and listens for your answer.

From a PDF to a rehearsal in three steps

  1. Upload your script

Drop in the PDF or Word file you were handed. Flobby finds the scenes, characters, dialogue, and stage directions.

  2. Check it against the page

Each original page sits beside the extracted text, so you can fix a line before anyone learns it wrong. Publish when it matches.

  3. Rehearse your part

Pick a character and scenes. Flobby reads everyone else aloud, hides your lines, and listens as you say them.

One link for the whole cast

Publish the script once, then send the link to your group chat. Whoever opens it lands straight in the script, ready to pick a character. Fix a typo, publish again, and everyone rehearses the corrected version.

Questions

Does everyone in the cast need a plan?

No. Each person needs a Flobby account to open a shared script, but only the person who uploads and publishes needs a plan.

Which files can I upload?

PDF and Word (.docx) scripts in English or Turkish, up to 100 MB and 200 pages each.

Which browsers can listen to me?

Chrome and Safari support spoken cues and line checking. In other browsers you can still rehearse by revealing each line yourself.

Who can see my script?

Only you, until you share a link. People who join see the published version, never your draft. Links stop working after seven days, and you can turn one off sooner.

Do you keep backups?

No, by design. Keep your original file somewhere safe; Flobby removes it once the pages are processed.
